Mission Statement

We, the members of the Progressive Business Group, a general, non-profit organization, will strive together:

  1. to build long-lasting relationships among professionals in Central Illinois,
  2. to improve the communities in which we live through collaboration and support of other local non-profit organizations,
  3. to encourage, support and educate professionals in Central Illinois, and
  4. to foster leadership by professionals in Central Illinois.

 

ABOUT US

The PBG has raised over $400,000 since its inception in 2002. The PBG annually hosts a Wine and Experience Auction in the fall, a Charity Golf Outing in the summer and a charity Valentine Ball in the winter. Proceeds from their fund-raising efforts have benefited the Center for Prevention of Abuse, Children’s Hospital of Illinois, Heartland Community Health Clinic, Catholic Charities, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Southside Office of Concern, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and the Dream Center of Peoria. The members of the PBG include men and women from a wide spectrum of professions, from carpenter to CFO. The PBG currently has 30 active members and continues to pursue new members with a passion for helping those less fortunate.
